The essential machine that NEEDS to be on your counter. I just got mine just recently, and I can't imagine my days without it now! I use it every single day, sometimes more than once. It is easy to use and so easy to clean. Making smoothies and soups in this magic blender is life changing and really makes clean eating so simple.
There's been a lot of evidence that your typical plastic Tupperware/food containers have chemicals that actually soak right into your food. Yes, you read that right. But not glass- which is why I love these BPA free containers for my leftovers and for food prepping.
Reusable straws are a win win for everyone. Not only are you reducing waste, but you're saving money on the repurchasing of the usual plastic straws! Love these, and they also come with pipe cleaner-like tool to clean your straws.
I had a Keurig as my sole coffee maker for the longest time and just did not feel right about it. Because really- there has to be so much hidden bacteria in those things! They're impossible to thoroughly clean. A french press is the actual best thing for many reasons. There's no plastic, so the hot water is not absorbing any of the plastic material and releasing it into your drink. Also, the coffee grounds in k-cups are never fresh. Really, how long has that coffee been in that thing??? With a french press, you can get fresh coffee grounds and have it brewed right in front of you! It is just so so delish. We deserve good coffee in this world.
Everyone needs a tea pot! As a college student, I didn't think it was a necessity. But I make a lot of tea because of the many health benefits, and using a microwave that often for heating up water can be cancer causing! Invest in a tea pot- I thought the red one was cute :-)
